After a weeks delay due to the recent cold weather, The Lilly Loch is now ready to re-open to anglers on Saturday 10th March.

Anglers can fish for Rainbow Trout using Powerbait, spinning or the fly - no livebaits until 15th March when the Brown Trout season begins. All ticket prices remain the same as last season, and season tickets are available to buy now.

Tight lines for the season ahead.

Unfortunately, the cold weather is continuing the make conditions impossible to allow us to open the loch for the new fishing season.

The loch is still frozen over at this time, and large snow drifts still remain, making difficult to gain access to areas around the loch. In light of this, and with the safety of all anglers in mind, we ask that you DO NOT TRAVEL TO THE LOCH AS IT REMAINS CLOSED and continue to be patient until further notice that we are in a position to open the loch for fishing.

07/03/2018 - Stuart Rae - Funeral

The funeral of Clarkston Angling Club member Stuart Rae will take place on Friday 09/03/17.

There will be a service held at Clarkston Church at 1.15pm, and then on to Holytown Crematorium for 2.00pm.

Clarkston Angling Club has today made the decision to delay the start of the new fishing season.

The recent extreme cold weather means that it will be impossible for anglers to fish at The Lilly Loch at this time, therefore we will NOT BE OPENING THE LOCH FOR FISHING to anglers on Saturday 3rd March as was previously intended.

Please do not travel to the loch as we will remain closed until further notice.

We are currently unable to say when we will re-open, however we will provide an update as soon as possible.
